Our chilled water work ranges from the replacement of cooling towers on a civic building to the process cooling that keeps an MRI scanner running. We handle the craneage, support steelwork and plant movement as well as the pipework, insulation, trace heating, pressurisation and water treatment.
At Enfield Civic Centre we removed the existing cooling towers and installed new plant with modified condenser and chilled water pipework. At Charing Cross Hospital and Ealing Hospital we installed MRI chillers, standby chillers, emergency cooling and quench pipes for safe helium discharge.

Cooling tower replacement
Removal and disposal of existing towers, new cooling tower plant, support rails, specialist craneage and lifting operations.
Chilled and condenser water
New and modified pipework, insulated internally and trace heated externally, with pressurisation units and dosing equipment.
MRI process cooling
Chillers, standby chillers and emergency cooling for the MRI liquid cooling cabinet, installed to the scanner manufacturer's requirements.
Quench pipes
Quench pipe systems for safe helium discharge, with oxygen depletion monitoring linked to the BMS.
Air source heat pumps
Heat pumps supplying LTHW and chilled water to air handling unit coils.
Commissioning
Systems filled, dosed, tested and commissioned, then demonstrated with O&M documentation and a building log book.

Do you manage crane lifts?
Yes. Ealing Hospital's community diagnostic centre involved more than ten contract lifts with zero accidents, and we coordinate lift plans with the main contractor and the estates team.
Have you worked on MRI installations before?
Yes. We completed the mechanical installation for the 3T MRI suite and the 1.5T MRI refurbishment at Charing Cross Hospital and two MRI scan rooms at Ealing Hospital.
Can cooling stay available during a replacement?
We agree the phasing and any temporary arrangements with you first. Critical clinical cooling is installed with standby plant so the scanner is protected.
Do you handle the water treatment?
Yes. Dosing equipment, flushing, chemical treatment and water quality testing are part of the installation.
