Preou was appointed to undertake the replacement of the heating and hot and cold water distribution pipework within the Our Lady's Wing at St Claudine's Catholic School. The project was delivered to a demanding six-week programme, requiring careful planning and coordination to ensure completion within the available school holiday period.
Scope of works
The works included the replacement of heating, hot and cold water distribution pipework, together with the installation of new radiators and fan convectors and associated builders work. Preou also carried out fire stopping to service penetrations, alongside making good and reinstatement of affected finishes.
Project delivery
With only six weeks to complete the works, programme management was critical. Labour, materials and multiple work areas were carefully coordinated to maintain progress and achieve the required completion date. Preou completed the full scope within the six-week programme, including testing, commissioning, making good and final handover.
