Orley Farm School, Fire Door Replacement
Five fire door sets replaced in listed school buildings, with bespoke doors and traditional-style glazed vision panels.
Overview
Preou replaced five fire door sets at Orley Farm School, a private school with listed buildings. The project required fire compliance while preserving the traditional character of the existing buildings.
Scope of works
Our scope included the survey and assessment of existing openings, management of existing wall fire compartmentation, design and specification of replacement fire door sets, bespoke doors and traditional-style glazed vision panels, supply and installation of doors, frames and ironmongery, and fire stopping and compliance works.
Outcome
The new doors provide the required fire performance while complementing the heritage character of the school through sympathetic detailing and traditional glazing.
