Greenhouse Centre, Mechanical, Ventilation and Controls
Mechanical, ventilation and controls works for a significant upgrade of the Greenhouse Sports centre ahead of its reopening.

Overview
We were proud to deliver a comprehensive package of mechanical, ventilation and controls works at the Greenhouse Centre, as part of a significant upgrade to the facility ahead of its reopening.
Scope of works
Our works included the installation of fire-rated ductwork throughout the centre, incorporating specialist grilles and a large Nuaire extract fan. Sections of the ductwork were permanently installed beneath the floor, requiring careful planning and coordination, with dedicated maintenance access hatches incorporated for future serviceability.
We also completed significant alterations to the domestic hot and cold water and heating systems, including new pipework, flushing and dosing, alongside the strip-out and removal of redundant air conditioning systems.
Our specialist works included the supply and installation of motorised smoke and fire dampers, control panels and associated electrical wiring, together with a new BMS to provide effective control and monitoring of the centre's building services. For the new kitchen area, we installed new pipework and a dedicated extract ventilation system and fan.
