Dunmow Community Centre, M&E Installation
The complete mechanical and electrical package for a new community centre, built around a ground source heat pump.

Overview
We were appointed as the M&E contractor for the new Dunmow Community Centre, delivering a comprehensive mechanical and electrical package to provide the building with modern, efficient and sustainable services.
Mechanical
A key element of the project was the installation of a Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) system, providing an energy-efficient solution for the centre's heating requirements. Our mechanical works also included complete heating and domestic hot and cold water pipework, hot water cylinder installation, drainage, sanitaryware, ventilation, thermal insulation and associated controls. A new BMS provides monitoring and control of the building's mechanical services.
Electrical
Our electrical package included the complete power infrastructure and lighting installation, alongside an EV charging point, fire alarm, CCTV and lightning protection systems.
Outcome
The project demonstrates our ability to deliver complete building services solutions from infrastructure through to final fixtures and commissioning, while incorporating renewable technology.
