A service and maintenance contract awarded after the heating replacement, renewed for a second year, plus refurbishment of the historic main hall.
Overview
Following the successful replacement of the heating systems across Westcliff High School for Boys, Preou FM was awarded the service and maintenance contract for all boiler plant, air conditioning systems, pump motors and related equipment. We were pleased to renew this contract for a second year, continuing our partnership with the school.
Main hall refurbishment
In addition to ongoing maintenance, Preou FM completed a significant project in the school's historic main hall, which included the refurbishment of the parquet flooring, heating and domestic systems, BMS, electrical and data services. Asbestos removal was carried out out of hours to avoid impacting the school's operations.
Constraints
This is a live, occupied secondary school with safeguarding and programme constraints. Works were sequenced around teaching hours and examinations, with invasive activities completed out of hours.
