30 City Road, Office Fit-Out Mechanical Services

Overview

We completed the mechanical services installation as part of an office fit-out at 30 City Road, delivering a modernised HVAC and domestic services installation designed to support the refurbished office space.

Scope of works

Our works commenced with the strip-out and removal of redundant mechanical services, allowing the new installation to be coordinated with the revised office layout. We installed 12 new fan coil units complete with associated pipework, insulation and condensate pumps, providing heating and cooling throughout the refurbished areas.

The ventilation installation included new flat oval ductwork, together with associated grilles and volume control dampers. A dedicated kitchen extract system was installed, alongside new domestic hot and cold water services to serve the new kitchen facilities.

Coordination

The works were carefully coordinated with the electrical contractor and BMS specialist to ensure the new mechanical equipment, controls and associated services operated as an integrated system.

This project forms part of a wider planned refurbishment programme at 30 City Road. Future works are expected to include replacement of the central air handling unit plant serving the building.
