Preou in Reading
In Reading we delivered the mechanical services for the refurbished Endoscopy department at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, with surrounding wards kept in service.
The Royal Berkshire Hospital is on London Road, east of the town centre. Our engineers travel from Billericay, about 60 miles away, and projects are managed by a named contracts manager from first survey to handover.
The buildings we work on in Reading are mostly acute hospital departments and clinical refurbishments. They are occupied buildings, so the works are planned in detail before we start on site: shutdowns agreed in advance, heavy work programmed into holidays or quiet periods, and temporary plant where heating or hot water has to stay on.
