Project: Scott Wilkie Primary School, Custom House, London
Scott Wilkie School is located in Custom House in the London Borough of Newham and educates children from 4 to 11 years old.
A.C. Preou were invited to complete the refurbishment of the kitchen within the school. We stripped out existing domestic services, electrics, kitchen hood and ventilation. New beams needed to bet fitted in the ceiling to accommodate the new kitchen canopy. We provided a storage container to keep the School’s equipment safe whilst we carried out our works.
Despite unforeseen issues arising throughout this project, the cooks were able to use the kitchen when the children returned in September. Further work continued to allow hot meals to be served from October.
We worked in close co-operation with the school staff, the Council and our Sub Contractors to see a successful completion of the project.
