Project: Marks Gate Junior School

Marks Gate Junior School is in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. A.C. Preou were appointed to undertake the replacement of boilers and other associated mechanical plants.

The work needed to be done in the winter, so we utilised our containerised temporary boiler plant. This meant there was minimal disruption to the School’s heating. The staff and pupils could carry on their lessons, incognizant that we were removing their old boilers.

We installed new Remeha boilers, flues and pumps. A plate heat exchanger was fitted, to keep the new boiler clean from the existing heating circuits.

We adapted and renewed as required, existing power and controls to suit the new equipment and plant room layout. A new controlled panel was installed with BMS interface.
