Ilford County High School

We were the principal contractor on site on this major school boiler room refurbishment along with replacing swimming pool plant.

The total value was in access of 280k. The works had to be planned to have the hot water working by the time the school returned from the summer recess. Five new boilers were installed with a combined output of 900Kw, the complete boiler room pipe was replaced along with the swimming pool plant.

The system was converted from gravity feed and expansion to three separate sealed system. All the pumps were replaced with modern Grundfos twin pumps, the controls were completely updated to include the new control panel along with a BMS system to allow the client to monitor and control the system from their head office by a telephone link with a personal computer, the system functions and set points are displayed on the computer screen.
