Clockhouse Primary School
Clockhouse Primary School is in the London Borough of Havering. The main intake of the School are children from ages four to eleven years old.
The School takes pride in creating an environment that is conductive to all pupils learning and general wellbeing, which is what we at A.C. Preou, a family orientated business, always strive to reflect in our working methods and standards when undertaking any project.
A C Preou was appointed as principal contractors, to carry out the Design and Installation of new heating pipework, emitters & associated works within KS1 and KS2 building.
We completed the following works:
- Decommissioned and removed all existing pipework and heaters
- Installed new hot and cold water pipework runs, with additional isolation valves and to enable future work as the Clients requirement.
- Calculated heat losses and installed new suited panel radiators.
- Installed new direct gas fired condensing water heater, with new flue and gas pipework modifications.
The new heating system comprised of a minimum of 3 zoned heating circuits, two for the classrooms & offices and a separate circuit for the hall.
Due to a setback, the work wasn’t started until late in the summer. But our expertise enabled us to programme the key works, allowing the pupils to return in September to a functional School. And we completed the other works in the Autumn holidays.
