We were contracted to carry out validation of the existing system and subsequently a full design of the LTHW Heating System and Domestic Hot Water Service. Our design team was able to carry out the full design and drawings to enable our engineers to carry out the installation.

Bowes Primary School is a beautiful Victorian Building, to the school’s credit, the whole building has been maintained to a fantastic standard. The existing cast iron radiators were still performing to a high standard, therefore to keep the building’s authenticity, they were re-used.

The works consisted of removing aged boilers and water heater, and installing:

Ideal Evomax boilers
Plate heat exchanger
A O Smith water heater
Pumps and expansion vessels
Flue up the side of building
BMS Control system

The plant was commissioned by the manufacturers, to give the School an extended warranty period.
On completion we gave the demonstrated how the new plant operates.
