Client: The London Borough of Redbridge

A.C. Preou successfully completed the installation of replacement hot and cold water service risers along with new cold water storage tanks at The Ilford Lane Council Chambers.

The works incorporated:

The removal of all associated pipework and services, including the existing hot water system within the boiler room

The installation of the new hot and cold water service risers throughout the building, reconnecting and modifying the existing pipework and electrically wiring before commissioning the new installations

The installation of new cold water storage cisterns, comprising of GRP sectional tanks, supports, brackets and a purpose made upstand

To minimise the disruption caused to the building users whilst the works were being carried out, we efficiently installed temporary electric water heaters to serve the first and third floor kitchen areas. This ensured that these were still operational for all occupants.

We ensured that disruption was kept to a minimum. Noise was always kept to a minimum and we endeavoured to schedule any exceptionally noisy aspects of the project to out of office hours.
