 This contract involved removing an old boiler and replacing it with a Potterton Arizona 1100Kw boiler

We were domestic sub-contractors on this project, to Wiggens Gee Construction, our sub contract value is 400k, the contract involved removing an old boiler and replacing with Potterton Arizona 1100Kw boiler, modernising the general water services with a new main sectional cold tank and a fast recovery hot water cylinder. All the swimming pool ventilation plant was replaced with high efficiency Dantherm air handling plant. A new changing village was built on the side of the main pool, this involved us carrying out designing to provide high pressure pumped and shower facilities and general water supplies, under floor heating systems along with heat reclaim ventilation, all linked were possible into existing systems.

The works were complex due to the clients need to keep the leisure centre operational, this aspect was challenging and successfully carried out by using our computerised planning system supplied by PowerProject plc. A complete new controls system was installed which has a BMS system linked to the clients offices.
